The zombie 'Double Tap' of Miss Kitty

Let's see - What did I do this morning? I think I tee'd up some movies, watched some tv and played Railroad Tycoon. I just had the TV on the casino radio channel and a familiar song came on. It was the song off Sportsworld that Casey and I both have a laugh over. It is called 'Fanfare for the common man'.

First thing's first. let's go out for a walk and see what's around. Well I made it half way through the first little area of the casino - just after the deep sea fishing machines before the first blood nose of blood nose season occurred. Hooray! All hail blood nose season. So I sniffed my way back to the elevator, politely nodding to a gym rat lady and sat back in the room for another hour.

I then headed out a bit later in the morning this time hoping to make it a bit further. I thought I'd duck outside to the pool area this time. Hopefully a bit of fresh air will stave off any blood nose nonsense. How do I open this gate? The guy says 'Can I help you sir'
'Yeah, I just want to get out mate'
'yeah just open the gate there'
'No good'
He then pushes the gate open. hahah - I'd been trying to pull it. Pull it!! Pull my finger laddie!!

Once inside i scouted the area, went past the poker room. Not much action going on, saw a few hands where the action looked pretty frisky. Some tight players, some aggressive players, some 'river rats'.

I returned to the room once more before getting into some serious drinking and pokies action. The following paragraphs is what I wrote to Gaz and Dangas with 'a few word changes'.

Its 1.01 in the afternoon and ive played a bit of miss kitty pokies.  i think i have unfinished business with this afternoom. I've had 3 scotch on the rocks doubles - put 40 bucks in and had 2 features. FEATURES.  hahaha. first one paid $6.50 so naught bed but the 2nd only 85 'flimsy' cents. MISSAPSEAKA if you dont mind umpire! So yeah, in vegas and am going to get off my 'rocker' by sundown i reckon and either 'slaughter' little missy kitty puss or take my chances at some texas hold 'em action.I think im over the hold em though. they can hold my nuts flushed. Its good with the 'alcahol' - all you do is tape the waitrtess while you are playing - so you can literally get 'drunk' and just pay her tips - it depends on how 'quick she is'.

Sherry saw me when i gto back to the room after playing the slots. She thought i looked a bit 'overly refreshed'. I then went and watched Zombieland at the cinemas. Rule No 1 - Cardio, Rule No. 2 : The Double Tap. Reminded me of a cross between Natural born Kilers and House of the Dead - Overkill. Bill Murray was hillarious and Woody Harrelson is simply 'The Man'. The end was awesome with a shoot out at the carnival.

Back at the room played heaps of Railroad Tycoon. I was keen to ensure all trains were servicing the stations proplerly after a massive overhaul of some of the minor networks. I had to sell a heap of stock to get some capital to fund the re-design. The investors should be happy long term once i get proper service.

At about 8.30 I went down for some more China Panda. Before that i got some money out and on the ATM I selected credit - purely because of the intstructions from VTU -ut that gave me a bit of a stuff around and a huge service fee. Still, the fee was covered by the informatiomnI gained from the cashier - 3 dollar tips are excessive. 'No, no,no!! Too much honey!' Getting the money though was like I had done some massive illegal wire transfer - I had to sign heaps of forms - kind of like getting money from a mobster 'on the tick'.

Then I ate more Panda Express and then had an awesme drinking / slot machine session on Miss Kitty. I put in a hundred and 2 hours later walked away with 70 bucks. So all up after 2 hours I'd spent less than 50 bucks and was 'overly refreshed' and had been entertained. 6 double scotch on the rocks', 4 features on Miss Ktty - the biggest paying about 30 bucks. Good fun.

Then I ducked over to the bar in the middle of called 'The Lucky Bar'. This is where Darryl, Leslie and Sherry were drinking. In the middle of the casino that has the massive marijuana smoking appartus in the middle. Who do they think they are kidding with that? I then bought another scotch on the rocks and it was 14 bucks. I said it was cheaper at the pokies - I think the watiress misheard me and i didnt know that they didnt use the term 'pokies' for slot machines. So she could have interpreted what I said in a number of ways.

I drew a couple of reasonable sketches of Australia as I pointed out the wine regions and Margaret River, Leslie showe dme some cool pictures of Oregon. It was very intersting to hear that they dont fence off their properties. Really looking forward to heading up there in a month or so. It sounds like we will be able to do a San Jose-San Fran-Portland road trip. This should mean we can go to the NHL on a friday maybe, spend the weekend in san fran and then get to Portland on monday.

After Darryl and Leslie declared their innings' over Sherry and I watched one of her colleagues play blackjack. She was really good and new when to stay even on something like 12. Turns out there is a bit of skill to it and you really need to look at the dealers cards to work out when to stay on something low or not. Then Sherry and I went and played Invaders fromt he Planet Moolah. Had a coupl eof dewcent payouts but nothing to write home about. It was too cold for a swim today. Maybe tomorrow if i can get up early enough, Its now just after 3 am in the mornin'.
