L.A. KINGS @ DALLAS STARS

Awesome. This is the first glimpse of NHL i have seen on TV here. Although only jumping in for the final period I saw some big hits from Brendan Morrow and the Kings fightining on the penalty kill really well. There were heaps of ringers too.

Dallas had plenty of big names on their team - Mike Modanao,  Mardy Turko, Brendan Morrow, Luis Eriksson, Robairo.

L.A Kings also had their stars too - Anze Kopitar, Justin Williams, Ryan Smyth, Matt Green and Jack Johnson.

I remember it was said that the Kings were taking a chance in signing Johnson de to his problems with injury last year. But he looks good, helping with some important clearances and a couple of good drives.

Wayne Simmonds goaled on the empty netter to make it 4-1 for the Kings. Cedit to Quick and L.A for staving off a big effort from the Stars in the final period. Robairo, in particular, seemed to be getting some detcent shots in good position.
