To sum up the season for the Cavs thus far: Mo Money Mo Problems For a couple of years the Cavs have been looking to acquire a decent point gaurd, and while Mo Williams is more of a combo guard than a tradional point - his influence cannot be overlooked. His acquistion has given Mike Brown and LeBron James relief in the scoring column and has turned into one of the elite teams of the NBA - and arguably the best in the East. LeBron - having an MVP calibre season, has beenfited most from Williams acquisiton, with defenders afraid to leave LeBron due to the kick out to either Mo or Delonte West - another player who is fits in well with the system - also giving them another ball carrier. When you look at the starting lineup of Williams, West, James, Wallace and Big Z, it is hard to see any real defficiency that could prevent them going deep. The defense is there with Wallace, James and Williams - and you have Anderson Verajo coming off the bench for an instant energy infusion. This lockdown defensive team of last season now maintains its presona but also adds the scoring punch to usurp the Celtics as the team to come out of the East. Expect these two to meet in the Eastern Conference finals in what will be a classic match-up. Pierce and LeBron who always elevate their games when going head to head will ensure a classic series. Currently 2nd in the East. What's missing? - The hardware.
