MIAMI HEAT
Current Record - 24-19 (5th East) You cant keep D-Wade down. After an injury plagued season in '08 which saw the Heat slump to a dismal record, Flash is back in 08-09 and this time - thanks to a high draft pick - with some talent on the wing. Michael Beasley has been solid off the bench, and will be a solid player. It looks like it may take a little longer for him than Mayo and Rose. The Heat are looking to offload Marion, but who will they get? If Pat Riley dares trade him for Jermaine O'Neal i will be really ticked off. Jermaine O''Neal for Shaquille O'Neal?? what kind of trade is that? I can understand it as the Heat certainly need some help up front. Haslem has been great but his past his best and Jamal Magloire is utter puss. Could Pat Riley bring in someone like Nenad Krtistic from the Thunder. Probably not as Riley likes biggens with a more hard nosed edge. But the Heat are heating up and will be a playoff contender for the foreseable future. What's missing - An outside shooter (why not grab JJ Reddick??) and a big man.
