I like this team. As with the Blazers this team is full of promising young stars. The Grizzlies are just developing though much like the Thunder, Wolves.
O.J. Mayo, Rudy Gay, Marc Gasol, Kyle Lowry - how much younger can a team get? Mayo is already the leader of this team and although expected to be good, was not expected to be this good this quickly, arguably having a better rookie season than Chris Paul.
Marc Gasol will be better than his odler brother, Rudy Gay is a veratile player but hasn't deeloped as quickly as the Griz were hoping.
Expect this team to run out of puff in the second half of the season. Under ex-coach Mark Ivaroney they were running around like headless chooks, with no clear system. Some fresh coaching ideas may help but the long rookie season will not do Memphis any favours.
