Current Record - 17-28 (14th East) Despite their record the Pacers aren't too bad. This season has been Danny Granger's coming out party. How good is he? Well he's no Scottie Pippen. Yet. And they can still make the playoffs only 3 games behind 8th placed Milwaukee. Larry Bird has done well to re-brand the Pacers after the infamous Artest scandal in Detroit. Jackson, Artest and O'neal are all gone and they are looking to rebuild around Granger. Troy Murphy and Mike Dunleavy can play. TJ Ford is a serviceable point.ANd they also have Marquis Daniels, a decent swingman off the bench. But still they just don't have that other key player to really threaten the likes of Cleveland and Boston in the East. Expect them to maybe creep int the playoffs and win one game before being shown the door for this season. What's missing - Rebounding, some help for Granger.
